-AUTHOR'S NOTE-
I wanted to write a story that's been going on in my head for quite a bit!
This is just the beginning (just the meeting between the two main characters)
so I wanted to upload it to see if it would be interesting to read more!

I know this is the most horrible story of all time, but I would be very glad if you could comment...

Here it goes!

It all began on a rainy day, the sky was as gray as the concrete street under my feet,
and I was quietly strolling in the city before getting back home.

As the drops of rain kept falling on my cheeks, they mixed with my salty tears and poured on the ground.
I've been crying all this time. I always repeated to myself that I won't cry anymore, yet I still broke the promises, one after another.
This time, I didn't want to make a promise again. I just sobbed weakly and continued to walk.

“Hey...” I heard a voice whispering behind me. Even if the street was empty, I silently prayed that voice was calling someone else. Please, tell me it's not talking with me.

“Hey, could you give me an advice, please?”

I heard footsteps getting closer. I didn't want to talk to anyone in that moment, and I
also didn't want to be seen crying like a little child. I kept walking, ignoring the voice.

“Can you hear me? I'm sorry to trouble you, but It's important!”

Then I recognized the voice. It was a student from my school. He wasn't from my group of
friends, though, so I impulsively started running. -Now stop following me- I thought.

Did he?

I couldn't hear his footsteps anymore. I slowed down my pace, until I came to a stop.  But just as I turned myself- he was already by my side, and he looked at me with his
blue orb, the one that wasn't covered by strands of hair.
He had a peaceful expression, and his gaze was fixed on my shiny tears. Realizing that I was crying, his face contorted in a sad smile. Then I noticed:
there was some blood on his cheek, and as I shifted my look,I saw his red-stained jacket and pants.
My eyes grew wider at the sight, and the boy began explaining his situation, stuttering.

“I-I...Please don't be scared, it's nothing! See, I just...used red paint at school! Yeah, that's it!”

“Sure...” I giggled. “Do you think I'm stupid or something? Who can you fool with a cheap
excuse like that? This is clearly blood.”

His face changed again, this time to a confused look.
“You...you're laughing at this? So you cry by yourself on the empty streets, but you giggle
when you see someone drenched in blood?”
Said the guy.

“Hmm...Well, I still think you're a creep, but hearing you make up that “red-paint at school”
situation made me laugh. Now, did you need something from me?”

“You're not asking how I got the blood stains?”

“Nope. I'm not interested in you or in your situation.”

“Whoa. That's cold. Actually, I just heard you cry and I wanted to see if I could make you
smile... Looks like I did!”

I was astonished by his carefree reply, but before I could ask him any other questions, he left and went ahead, leaving small traces of  blood from his clothes on the dark street.

We didn't know anything about each other, yet under that clouded sky, we met, and
the rain washed both my tears and his blood. On that day, we were freed from our horrible pasts.
Please tell me your opinion on this!
Keep in mind, this is not the entire first chapter (If I ever continue this story)! It's just a preview to see if someone would like something like this!

If I ever continue this XD It's gonna be bloody and it's going to have lots of mysteries and plot twists!
Let's say it's going to be a psychological detective thriller horror story...
